How ScreenSlap works
Paste your calendar's iCal link into ScreenSlap. In Google Calendar that's the "secret address in iCal format" in the calendar's settings; in Outlook it's a published calendar link. ScreenSlap shows your next meetings in the menu bar panel.
A minute before each meeting, or up to 30 minutes if you prefer, the alert covers every display, or just the one you choose. Press Join to open the meeting link in Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Slack and other services, snooze for 5 or 10 minutes, or press any key to dismiss. If two meetings overlap, the alert tells you. Use "Send a test alert" to see it before your next call.
When In Your Face is the better pick
If your calendar won't give you an iCal link, or your company blocks it, In Your Face's direct Google and Microsoft sign-in is the simpler route. It's also the one to choose if you want alerts on your iPhone or Apple Watch, or several alerts for one meeting. ScreenSlap is for people who live at their desk and want one alert they can't miss, paid for once.
